About The Leona Neal Senior Center

As Cleveland County's leading agency on aging, The Council on Aging promotes aging as a normal process. The Council on Aging of Cleveland County will significantly influence the lives of older adults of Cleveland County and improve their quality of life by providing opportunities for:

*Social interaction, encouragement and support from peers and others

*Application of wisdom, experience, skills and insight in meaningful ways

*Encouragement and maintenance of healthy, independent life styles in an atmosphere that acknowledges the value of human life, affirms dignity and self worth of older adults, and maintains a climate of respect, trust and support, and by becoming an integral part of the aging network and serving the community.

Our Mission Statement is

"To maintain the Senior Center as a focal point, promoting aging as a natural process, by opening doors that improve the quality of life of older adults in Cleveland County."
